Through using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I help busy, stressed adults and teens to find balance in their lives. First, I teach mindfulness methods in a way that is both engaging and experiential. And, I offer group and one-on-one coaching to help adults provide peaceful pauses as part of their daily lives. Below are some ways that I can work with you to create balance and satisfaction in your life.
Stress Reduction
Busy working adults can get caught in the speed of job and home life--and don't have the tools to slow down. We are bombarded with multiple messages from our phones, email and social media. In addition, we often face conflicts and changes in our families, communities, and society at large.
Mindfulness can help us wisely approach difficult times and build resilience so challenges don't destabilize us. And, through this we can find a greater feeling of well-being.

Andrea has a special way of adding calm and balance to the everyday challenges a busy life brings. Her easy manner and well trained techniques makes trying new ways of thinking and 'doing' easy to try. I left meeting with Andrea armed with new tools and feeling renewed. I feel ready to take on the new challenges I am facing. Thanks Andrea!

Medical Disorders
MBSR is proven effective in treating both medical and psychological conditions such as anxiety, ADD/HD, spectrum disorders, trauma recovery, migraines, chronic pain, sleep problems and high blood pressure.
Breathing and affirmation practices offer non-pharmaceutical approaches to decrease the severity of chronic conditions that can erode our work and family lives. |
I've worked with Andrea as she has presented to my OCD support group. I'm a licensed mental health counselor and am so impressed with her knowledge, professional manner, and gentleness. It is always a highlight of our group sessions to have Andrea visit. I highly recommend her services. |
One-on-One Coaching
You can purchase three, five or nine session depending on your wishes.
A free 30 - minute consultation (zoom or in-person) will get you started, next we will review your goals, what type of practice suits your needs, and when you might insert power pauses into your day. You might with mindfulness of sound and the body scan, settle into the comfort of your physical being. This is among the most relaxing and easy ways to start. |
Andrea treated me to a guided session in a beautiful redwood grove near my home. She helped me to quiet my self so that I could more fully be aware of and be part of the peaceful setting. It was a treasured and tranquil moment.
